This is my middle child who also married a middle child, if you have a middle child you understand, if you are a middle child you already feel put out! I'll blog on that another time though... This is about "That Girl" there! This is my favorite picture of them and was taken on the evening of their engagement by a total stranger who I am sure was micro-managed by my daughter for this shot! It is beautiful and it is sad that this is my favorite when I spent a small fortune on a very good photographer for their "official engagement pictures!" But...I digress again as this post is about "That Girl" there...because she has made her parents so proud again...a whole life of making us proud and worried, scared and a couple of times maaaaaaadddd....sorry I have done it again....
The big news about"That Girl".....She has decided to teach...High School English and we are so happy because...she loves English and she is so good with people especially young people and we love teachers!
PS. Thank you, Rachel for never "getting on" to me about my grammar, as I know it "bugs the livin' daylights out of you!!!!"

An adult friend of my went back to school for a degree in english just so she could correct grammar with more authority ;)
Good for your daughter! Thanks for sharing, visiting from ILCW.

She's beautiful. You must be so proud. I'm a 1st child, but I do have a middle child. Paul. He's in the Navy and he is making me so stinkin' proud right now!
oops I think I accidently typed the verification letters at the front of that comment.
My Daddy was in the Navy...I would be proud too!
What a beautiful photo! I once pursued a degree in English--then I broke up with it and received my degree in painting.
Thank you for the comment on my blog! Stop by again anytime!
i love that poopy pants. she is the best!!! (for all of you that don't know, "poopy pants" is a term of endearment in our family) :)
Im so excited for rachel's new career path:) Her passion for english will make her such a wonderful teacher!! As far as the grammar correcting that will never go away, it will continue with her kids. I should know since my mom did it my whole life:)
You are too too wonderful Mom :) I would LOVE to have prayers all around. I really would like for this new career path to work out (as would my husband).
And I love this picture, too. I actually just asked the strange to point and click; no management on my part. I think that is what makes it so beautiful...it was a very perfect moment!!!
wow that is so exciting! I would love to be a teacher! good for her!
