Tuesday...Tell Me More!

I thought maybe since it was Tuesday...and it is now my 101st post...I might tell you a little more about me, that 100 posts could not...

I am 50 and I discovered one night watching my grandson that I was fearful and he is fearless! I want to be fearless...I do spend a lot of my time worrying what might happen if I did so and so. I tend to be a careful person by nature! I don't want to be reckless just less fearful! So, I started this blog and rode a motorcycle and while reading a book with a church group, I have made some changes in my life to live a more sustainable life and to care more for God's creation and his people, all of his people!
I have become a vegetarian, almost a vegan although, I have some seafood so maybe I am a "Sea Wee Vegan." My Hubby is not thrilled with these changes as He LOVES meat however, he is supportive!
I know, not everyone agrees with me and that is okay...I am trying to be fearless and be what God wants me to be. It's personal and that is why I am sharing it with the world! Tee Hee

Hey. Sorry I haven't been by the past few days. Working the weekend as always. I'm glad that you are making the changes. I love meet too, but I've tried to cut down cause I know it's not good for me. What, with all the antibiotics and hormones!

I can spell.... really. Meet=meat!

Too funny! That is the one of the reasons I have quit meat...
But, slso with China and India adopting a more western eating style (meaning more meat) it is becoming a drain on our resources ( meaning water)...to make a difference just cut down. America now eats more meat than it ever has before! It's what's for supper!

I think the changes you made are great! I agre that it's horrible to live in fear and always worrying about the unknown. I have to work on that too! I also think it's great that you became a vegetarian! I wish I had that much willpower. I'm feeling so guilty lately when it comes to food--since we went on vacation I've been eating like a pig! Have you noticed a difference since cutting out meat? Does it make you feel better? Do you like sushi? I always feel healthy when I eat that--which is often! Now that I'm thinking about it--that's what I want for lunch!

I do feel beter now...But, I did have a lot of gas and other issues down below at first :( . Now, I am much better...I think it took my system by surprise to have that much fiber all at once. I love, love, seafood so I am not sure what you call my new eating habits. But, I am only eating seafood about once a week. My skin is better but my energy level isn't all the high right now but... we have been working rather a lot so maybe it is justifed. All in all, I am please with how I feel these days.

Well done you on some really positive changes.

I have a hideous diet, and definitely don't look after myself. And don't ride motorcycles!

Here's to being fearless xx

Hey, I hope you didn't start a blog, ride a motorcycle and read a book all at the same time.

But, then again, it would make you pretty fearless. lol

The change in eating habits must have been difficult. I love my protein too, but hate beans and soy and tofu. I'd be hooped. lol

Yea..it would be hard to do all at the same time!!! I love vegetables anyway and red meat was really easy to give up...seafood would be hard if I do. Although I won't eat some of the larger fish because they are high in Mercury. I get my protein from nuts and beans. I love chickpeas, kidney, lentils and black eyed peas.My favorite nuts are cashews and almonds. But, I think I read that you were supposed to have 30 grams of fiber....that is hard unless your a vegetarian...then it is easy! If you eat small amounts of meat and mostly vegetables...it is easier.
