My foot is better. However, only when I do not walk on it and certainly not run...this has not been great news for me! I stay off of it and then try to return to my morning walks or afternoon treadmill and the pain returns! So...I am going to try something new! Near my home is a Pilates Studio and my first class is this morning...The machines look a little "torturous" but I am excited!
I have a feeling soon more than just my foot will be hurting!
Check out who won the contest on Travel with Ronda!

That sounds very cool! And yes. The rest of you will hurt so much you'll forget about your foot. Have fun!!!
My sister swears by pilates. You've already got the most important thing -- the ability to stick with a routine.
Soooo your a pain freak....I am behind, what did you do to your foot?
Even though I haven't done them in awhile, I really like Pilates (I've only done the at home DVD type). I always feel so stretched out & long after (and usually very sore!)
Bleh Me no likey exercise, and my feet make it difficult to walk. Bleh. Me hates my blubber. Bleh.

I LOVE Pilates!! There's nothing better for toning! I used to do it--but haven't in awhile--I would love to add it back to my exercise routine! I'm about to do a workout now...
Go Ronda!!
Oh my word. I had no idea machines went with Pilates. I thought it was just your body. I am not coordinated enough to do that!
Those machines do look brutal....but I think Pilates will be fun. If that still hurts your foot...you may try working out in a pool...
Hope you don't mind me stopping by from Debbie's stie -- but your comment about "they always come back" just cracked me up...
Watch your foot - and the pilates are great. I do the floor work pilates and I have a sort of kind of pilates "machine" -- the core work is incredible. It's fairly easy on the joints and all. Have fun!
Let us know how it goes. You are a glutton for punishment. This coming from your 40lb overweight friend...
Good Luck, don't know a thing about pilates though. Let us all know how it goes!
Have a great day!
I am so proud of you!!
I've done Hatha Yoga and loved it, they have the room set at over 106 degrees, needless to say I perspired so much I could barely see.
Pilates is such a great work out! Have fun with it!
At least they are low to the ground in case you fall off. Not that I think you will but just in ccase...
I look forward to hearing about how this goes. Around here is it fairly expensive but I will wait to hear how your body likes it!
I tried ONCE! Now a days I stick to Yoga. Maybe after I drop 20 more pounds I will try it again!! Good Luck. I enjoy your blog..
