It Doesn't Cost Anything to be Kind ...

Visit 5 Minutes for Mom for more Wordless Wednesdays

Don't forget to stop and smell the flowers today!
Everyone I come in contact with lately seems nervous and scared and grouchy! And I don't just mean my family...This is a scary time for many of us and the financial situation for everyone may seem dismal. It is one bad news report after another! But...we will all be fine! I just thought it is important to remind all of you...to stop and be thankful for your blessings! If you can be generous today ...make the choice to be generous! I don't mean just financially...
I mean be kind to each other.
Be patient with each other.
Smile and take a moment to see the goodness in each other!
Be thankful!
Let's try to pay-it-forward in the real world today and blog about it!
I know I am going to try to be generous and remember I have so much to be thankful for...that little girl above is one of them!

She is so cute in her little bikini. And the flowers are beautiful.

You're also very right about being kind to others. A simple smile in the right direction can make someones day.

She is soooo cute!! I love her little bathing suit!! And I agree - it doesn't cost anything to be nice and it can make such a difference.

What a great shot of her! A great shot of the flowers! Much aloha from Hawaii!

I totally agree, Ronda. So often we get clouded by all the bad, that we forget ALL the blessings!

And cute chicky in her wee bikini! Somehow, all the baby fat doesn't look as cute on me as it does on her! lol

I finished The Shack last week. I thought it was eerie timing. First the 14 year old and then the 7 year old. REALLY creepy. Have you met Sophia in the book yet? That will give you a whole new outlook. Partially. lol

And last comment, I LOVE what you said to your daughter. "Not to me." That made me smile. Thanks for that.

Have a great day!

She is precious. Thanks for the reminder. All this is making me be thankful and slow down a bit. That's always a blessing.

Great message today. Easy to complain about things, sometimes harder to see how blessed you really are.

My dad always said, "There is always someone worse off than you who would trade for your life in an instant. Be happy and thankful for what you DO have and not sad about what you DON'T" Great advice.

Have a great day!

Cute picture! And a great post. I saw your comment on another blog about your 25 yo too. I do understand. And you say The Shack is affecting you. That's the 1 reason why I have not read it yet but it's on my stand. I know it's going to be intense for me. Hope you get through it and come out better for it.

I really just want to grab those little fat rolls and kiss them. What a sweetie. And I completely agree with you about the rest; I know that for me, one of the biggest things I can do to serve The Big guy is to get out of my own head and be nice to people. I struggle with it but it DOES help, and it DOES get easier, and it DOES reap long-term rewards.
