friday foto fierce as a lion
I am not as brave as my grandson...but I am getting braver!
My Hubby loves to take my picture and I am always telling him "No!"
It has been over 30 years of me saying "No!" That's a lot of No's. I have never felt comfortable about how I look. I am also uncomfortable with people watching me while I pose for pictures! Ugh!
But...I not only posed with people watching for this picture ... but I am posting it with friday foto fiesta finish!!! I am in Culver City, California!
I have come a long way baby!!

you are beautiful! I LOVE this picture, it for sure is going to be a GREAT friday, anyone can see that!
You know, I don't like people watching me get my picture taken either. It's especially funny given the fact that I used to model. CRAZY.
Love the picture by the way!
That's a GREAT picture of you...I love how you posed matching the lion behind you!
Where is this taken its gorgeous?
Keep being brave and for me I just have to stop caring so much of what people think!!
You look great and carefree:-)
You could so be Mary Tyler Moore! Beautiful!!
Oh you are such a cutie!!! No more NO's!!!!!!!!!!
Good for you! That's a great pic and you look like you're having fun!!
I am loving the pose. You're beautiful!
I LOVE this photo!!!!!!
You look like you pose for pics all the time! I'm learning that when someone wants to take my pic, just smile and hope for the best...there's no sense in fighting it!
I love it!
Fantastic photo of a beautiful lady :)
I am the same way....never in photos.
Glad you are overcoming your fears.
What a GREAT photo! I SOOOO know how you feel about people watching the pose...but you know something funny I noticed?...if you hang around for a few minutes - at least ONE of the group that was watching you will do the exact same pose you did. Not only did they copy you - but they look like fools too.
That always makes me feel better that I'm not the only freak out there posing funny.
That's funny! I'm always telling Leon "No" too, but I'm usually talking about something else....
lol!
I love this photo! You look so happy! Can you bottle that and sell it?
When you don't let your picture be taken, you have no one to blame later when there are no photos to remember you by. so good you are getting better and that picture is great!
Have a great day!
Great PHOTO!!!
Happy Foto Friday!
- Jennifer
That's a great photo of you!
Great picture!! TFS
I joke with my husband that if I ever go missing he'll have to post a wedding picture because, I too, refuse to mug for the camera.
I have to say, you have nothing to worry about. That was a gorgeous picture!
You go Girl!
It's always good to let go once in a while. Let your hair down, wear some high heels, drink somethine fruity! Hope your Friday is swell in CA!
Great photo of you... you are lovely and should let him take all the photos of you he wishes.
You should! You are beautiful... and clearly having a great time...
Rant on...

You should be proud of the way you look. You took a giant lions leap posing for that one. You look gread doing it!
Great photo - a definite YES!
Stopping by from Candid Carrie's site...what a great photo of you!
BTW I am really liking Bonnie Hunt's new show too. Watchin' it right now!
Love it! You should have your pic taken more often!
Congratulations to you for successfully posing for the photo: you look great! I understand completely as I still say "no", hence, no photos of me :-)
I hate getting my picture taking, too. This is a fantastic picture of you! xo
First of all, you are beautiful! I know how hard it is to be the subject of photos sometimes, but I'll tell you what I told my photo clients for over 20 years. It's history, it's very important, and your family will love that you preserved yourself in time throughout the years.
Keep going for it. You look great!
