What's NOT in My Wallet!!!

So...our girl is home and while she is in a little bit of pain she seems so glad to be home!

So, we have stimulated the economy of one local veterinarian to the tune of $1000.00!
We are not complaining but I can't help but daydream about wishing Riley didn't have to have surgery and how I would have liked to spend a $1000.00!
I would have loved to spend the weekend at the beach!!! One that accepts dogs of course!!

So...How would you spend a thousand dollars this weekend?

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for all the get well wishes for our girl!

Poor baby!!!!

If I had $1000 - Mr. B and I would be headed to the Ballet in Atlanta and then we would dine someplace REALLY wonderful and then get a penthouse suite kind of hotel room....

Oh my goodness! She is such a sweet puppy to be in that pain. Ow. I hope she feels better soon. I once spent $2000 (over 15 years ago!) on special surgery for my kitty. Worth every penny.

If I had an extra $1000 this weekend, I would buy my hubby that Bose sound system he really wants for our den...that we can't buy right now because we don't have an extra $1000. Circular, hmm? :-)

If I had that kind of dough, I would make an extended vacation on the beaches of Brazil. $1000 goes a long way in South America.... :)

Sweet baby, that makes ME hurt terribly! I am glad she is home and on the way to recovery, though. If I had a thousand dollars this weekend, I would give half of it to my previous landlady so she would get off my butt about supposed damages to the old house, and the other half? Go buy my daughter a new outfit to wear for her first date, and buy myself some hyacinth bulbs to force. I am ready for Spring!

Oh my word!!! Poor baby! That just stopped my heart.
I would go buy French Doors for my back entrance so that the sliding doors could be replaced because they are a danger and constantly coming off track which scares the crud out of me, then I'd take the extra money and buy a much needed table for our kitchen ;-) :-)

Ooh, been there... last summer with both dogs, one with a timber rattlesnake bite and one with bone cancer... Love my mutts but would certainly rather have spent all that money with a nice trip to the Bahamas.

I'd check into a spa and live it up. Pretty sure that will NEVER happen!

Thinking of sweet Riley!!!

Awwwww..poor puppy! Glad she came through OK, and hope the prognosis is good! If I had 1,000 bucks, I'd have to spend it on college tuition, but I'd love to spend it on a trip to the Caribbean!

Poor girl!!!!! If I had an extra $1000? I'd fly somewhere to a good dentist since I have agonizing tooth pain and NObody will give me an appointment until next week. Can you tell I'm just a wee bit miserable??? Me and your pooch should just snuggle up together and nap.

I am taking 1000.00 and leaving the state next Tuesday...I'm going to see my 3rd boy that I haven't seen in nearly a year.
There is NO price to great!! :)

If I my dog was sick, I'd spend the thousand dollars on her. Because money is replaceable, but great dogs aren't.

O.k. true story. We drove from MI to NY to get a pacemaker put in our dog.... it passed away within a year. :( We would however do it again if we had too. Dogs fill that special void in our lives.
1000.00, I would fly my friend to see me. It has been 2 years since we have see each other, but we talk almost everyday. Then we would have a blast with the extra money!

I started a giveaway today...stop by if you have a minute. :)
Happy Friday!

If I had $1000 to spend this weekend, I would buy an iPod and a plane ticket to Omaha.

Oh, and world peace.

Poor baby....that cut looks mean. Hope she's feeling better now.

Let's see...if I had it for this weekend I would like to say I would take Zander somewhere...like to a beach. I'm still afraid to fly with him though....I don't think he'll behave on a plane yet.

OH...a new mattress.....mine is 20 years old....which might be part of the reason I'm not asleep right now.....
