Cupcakes...two to go..go!

Okay...I know you can't help but look at the cutest- boy- in- America! But...tear your eyes away and check out that fancy mixer! That beauty was given to me in 1977 for my wedding to the Mister! It has made a lot of cupcakes...especially these last three years! My grandson loves to bake!
Stop looking at those dirty dishes...dishes can wait...when I have my grand babies...we bake!

Decorated by cutest-boy-in America!

Cutest girl reaching for icing on the cupcake...she is fast!

After all these years...I can do almost anything one handed!
Visit Candid Carrie for more friday fotos!

Aww! He is the cutest! Love the mixer - I think my mom still has hers like that. The oldest appliances are the best unlike the new ones!!!!

Super cute!!! My son knows when I'm baking now. He'll peek in the oven....and when he sees the cooling racks on the counter, he tries every trick he can to get whatever is on there. They learn so fast :-)

Awwww - I LOVE the pictures! My friend pulled out her old mixer the other day when we were baking an Itchy (questionable outcome due to odd ingredients) friendly cake.

LOVE the pics.

Your grandchildren are adorable! I had to laugh BIG TIME, that mixer you have...I got mine from my wedding also in 78 and its still being used! Its ugly as heck and mine came with a funny story...we live in Wisconsin and the gift came from hubby's side--cant remember who but there was still some food attached on the beaters! YES,,,,, I was sent a USED mixer for a wedding gift! We still laugh about it..but that dern ugly thing still works!

I still have the mixer from my 1st marriage in 1982. But now I also have the mac daddy mixer from my best (and last marriage) - Kitchen Aid. Love it!

BTW, your little grandbabies are gorgeous!

Yes...Kitchen Aid...I dream of it!

YES! Cupcakes are way easy and way fun to decorate. I give them to all the neighbors whenever we move to a new neighborhood... It's a nice way to introduce yourself! I use an old mixer as well... it works, so why not?

my MIL had the same mixer still when I got married...in 1998!! She gave me a stand up mixer that was as old as the husband with plastic bowels. i loved it!!

You are right...the baby's are cute! Hows come your apron wasn't up around your neck?

Karyn said...

Yeah! I think the Thanksgiving picture of the apron over Ronda's bust was pre-blog? If you post pictures regularly, it is important to not look like skid row in all of them.
For the sixteen years I have known Ronda, I can verify she always looks great!
