One Man's Trash IS a Treasure!

I walk about three miles a day...Wednesdays are not always as fun as other days because my neighbor does not put his trash in a can...but merely throws the bags onto the road side and let's the buzzards take over!!
These are not shy birds...the are ugly and a little frightening!
We live in a beautiful neighborhood surrounded by a conservation area...so we do have wild life...but these birds are a little intimidating when you try to walk around them!
Visit Angie at 7 Circus Clowns for more Wordful Wednesdays!

I decided to join Wordful Wednesday, hope you can stop by and see my holiday desktop--in the literal sense! Happy day to you.

Do you have an Association in your neighborhood? If so bring it to their attention.... or can't the city do something about it since they pick up the garbage all over his yard? So sorry you have a neighbor with these poor habits... it's really gross, and you are right, buzzards are large and a bit frightening. Time to take action.

You should just walk three miles in front of his house with a big sign stating how disgusting he is.

Oh, that is awful!! I totally agree with Jill on this one!

How disgusting!!! But kind of cool looking birds!

I cannot believe that the birds are that bold. I thought that they only went after road kill. But beyond that your neighbor should be required to have a can. Have you spoken to him about it?

ewwwwwww. Take up a collection for the guy a trash can...
No really I'd call the association.

Ick. I'd be skipping my walk on Wednesdays. And reporting him to... someone!

Wow! I'd expect that here in the boonies of Southeast GA. But in a nice subdivision?

Yikes--those birds are HUGE! I'd be scared of them too! It's really great you walk so much--I feel so lazy...

Reminds me of the movie "The Birds" freaked me out when I watched it.

I cannot believe you have buzzards in your beautiful neighborhood. In fact, I lived in the country and have never seen a buzzard before.

Bring a baseball bat next time and hit them with it!!

I'm surprised the neighbors don't protest. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to walk by those buzzards either! :)

Eeeew! Tacky tacky tacky. I wonder what his issue is about just putting the bags in a can. Yuck.

I thought we had it bad with black birds. I'd take them over buzzards!

Can you eat those buzzards? They are just as big as a turkey!

Does the garbage man charge double for picking up his scraps?

Karyn said...

How do those birds get through the front gate of your neighborhood?
Really gross!
