It's that Time of the Year

We are busy here doing end of year stuff...or I should be busy doing end of year stuff...but I am putting it off!
Always it seems this time of year...you look back and whether it's your finances or your personal life...you review...What would you do differently?...What worked? What didn't work so well? Anyone else working on New Year's Resolutions or Goals as others have put it? I have a bucket list I am reviewing and seeing if it's still what I'd like to do before y'know...
I was wondering who is going to BlogHer in July in Chicago. It sounds like a lot of fun...but I know a few who can't come because of finances...it is pricey! If I would put together a cruise for a long weekend...say in March 2009...going out of Tampa...Would anyone be interested? We would call it a Bloggy Cruise...for networking...if you have a business...that is an expense!!!
Maybe...just a long weekend at a nice hotel in Tampa...

This blog of mine has really been the surprise of my life...I started it without a thought on my 50th birthday...thinking it was just for me and I never realized how many people...great people I would come to know...it is fun and it's hard to believe it has only been 7 months!
Thanks, everyone for making it so much fun..there are so many talented people out there and you really do make a difference in my life!

Ooooh... I would love a trip early in the year but I don't think it'll be do-able. I'm taking Ryan to the Grand Canyon this summer and even though we're camping, it'll be pricey. Oh, I did look at Fort DeSoto, though, and that may well be on our agenda for next Christmas!!!! Thanks for the tip!

So glad we have become "friends"! I really enjoy reading your blog and even though you are only in my computer....I feel blessed to have such great friends, who I know will listen.

OH I'm so glad you started this blog....you are one of my favorite people to pop in on!!! And I'm not just saying that because I win all of your contests...I got my gift card by the way....but its true...you are good people!!!!!

I've been working on a bucket list for years....before it was called a bucket list even....the "before I die list"....bucket list sounds much better.

Yes, I plan on doing a lot of changing in 2009. I'm making a list for that too. Apparently, I'm a list maker now. We'll see how that goes. ;)

You have definitely become a staple in my life! I would love to do a short cruise, but March is like right around the corner...I say save your cash and fly to Dallas in Sept. Room and board is free.

I have felt the same way re: the blog thing; I cannot believe that I have grown to genuinely care for and yes, love, so many people! I am not going to go to Blogher, though I had orginally hoped to-too far away, not enough money, you know how it is. the idea of a cruise is ALSO excellent, and I hope you get lots of takers!

You have developed an authentic space, Ronda. I for one appreciate all your creativity!

I read a post by Caroline from "The Zen In You" a few weeks ago and she posted about selecting a word for the year instead of a resolution. I have chosen to extend the word "abundance" in 2009. My blog experience, begun in August has really enriched my life as well. People like you who blog with depth and perspective really draw readers who want to get meaning from this life and share it with others. You have a great blog and I have really enjoyed getting you know you through your blog and book reviews. Here's to more in 2009!!!

Awww, cannot do a cruise in March... have to be in Arizona for a wedding in March and in April a birthday in the midwest. But it's a great idea!

Can't do the cruise, although I'd love to. I've only been blogging since September, and I already have a sense of having made dear, dear friends.

Hi Ronda--I need to start working on my resolution list-maybe if I post it on my blog it will give me more incentive to stick w/ them!?! My Bucket List is a separate thing taht I am working on too..

I will definitely be at BlogHer this year and I hope that you and a lot of other bloggers I know will be there!

I love the idea of a cruise--but realistically, I doubt I will be able to get away from the little ones to do it. It's a great idea though!!

Are you going to post your resolution/Bucket List?

I would so much like to go to BlogHer, but with a brand new baby, and a 20 year class reunion in the same time frame...
